Born in Lafayette, LA, Stanley Dural began his musical career as a keyboardist playing mainstream soul music and R&B, and then tapped into his cultural/family roots to learn zydeco accordion from Clifton Chenier. Dural now stands as zydeco’s elder statesman, setting musical standards and inspiring younger generations.
