Partners-n-Crime duo Kango Slimm and Mr. Meana hail from the 17th ward of New Orleans, where they met as teenagers and began performing at talent shows together, quickly making a name for themselves as gifted performers. Considered legends of New Orleans bounce, their hits “Pump Tha Party,” “N.O. Block Party,” and “What’cha Wanna Do” are staples of the genre. Kango and Meana continue to record and perform together throughout the city and beyond.
