A native of Kenner Rouge, Henry Gray is a a blues pianist who first made his mark on the Chicago scene in the ‘50s; his solo on Jimmy Rogers’ “Chicago Bound” is regarded as classic. Gray returned to Louisiana in 1968 and reigns today as the elder statesman of the Baton Rouge blues scene.
