New Orleans rapper Allie Baby got her musical start as a member of two groups: Blak Iyce, a group helped by radio DJ and personality Wild Wayne, and Gs Up, a group begun by Atlanta rapper, Lil Scrappy. Allie then embarked on a solo career that quickly gained popularity due to her signature sound and talent, leading her to work with famed producers Drumma Boy, Mannie Fresh, and the rapper 8-Ball, one half of the famed Memphis duo 8-Ball & MJG. Allie is also an actress and can be seen in the Mardi Gras Indian film, Keeper of the Flame (2011).
