Alexander Louis Bigard Jr (1898-1978) was a jazz drummer and the brother of clarinetist Barney Bigard. He specialized in both brass band and dance band work, performing with the Excelsior and Onward brass bands, as well as with the Maple Leaf Orchestra, Sidney Desvigne, and John Robichaux in the 1920s. In the 1950s he led his own band, the Mighty Four, which featured Harold Dejan and Lionel Ferbos.
