Andy Anderson

Born in Mandeville, Louisiana, Andrew “Jug” Anderson (1905-1982) was a traditional jazz trumpeter who worked with the Henry Allen, Eureka, Young Tuxedo, and George Williams brass bands over the course of many decades. In 1967 he performed and recorded with the New Orleans Ragtime Orchestra.
